2 Timothy 2

2 Timothy 2. (v. 11-13)

(11) Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with him, we will also live with him; (12) if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us; (13) if we are faithless, he will remain faithful, for he cannot disown himself.

I can’t say it any better than it is already written; these verses say it all. If we die with Jesus, knowing Him as your personal Savior, then we will live with Him, forever! We must also die daily to our sins and “old selves” to live with Him daily, where Jesus will show through us and our lives, as a witness to others.

If we endure, the trials and tribulations that we face, with our faith and obedience to Him, we will reign with Jesus! There might be rough times ahead, or maybe you’re going through them now, but I’m here to tell you, none of them are stronger than God, not a single one of them can take away the sacrifice of Jesus Christ! So seek God, open your heart to Jesus, and you WILL endure. For you are God’s chosen and He loves you unconditionally.

However, even if we lose faith, see times as hopeless, HE WILL REMAIN FAITHFUL, for He cannot disown Himself! How awesome is our God! He remains faithful to us, even if we are faithless.

But we must never, never disown Him. If we disown Him, he also will disown us. If we turn our back on Jesus, disown Him and His glory, then we also will be disowned. I never want to be in this predicament!

If you don’t know Jesus, seek Him now. Matthew 7:7-8 says, (7) "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. (8) For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.” We cannot save ourselves with our works, (Romans 3:23) “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”, but praise be to God and Jesus, we don’t have to, because He loved us enough, unconditionally, to pay the price for our sins. Seek Him now before it’s too late, contact me, I will be overjoyed to help!

Thank you Jesus, for loving me enough to die for my sins, to cleanse me of all unrighteousness, so I may live with You, reign with You, forever and ever. Please help me to remain faithful, to serve and do Your will, to honor and glorify You, in all that I do. Amen.
