Hebrews 10

Verses 35 & 36, resounded in my heart, mind and soul today. They touched me so deeply, so I have to share them. “(35) So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. (36) You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.” Wow, what a powerful message! It gives us a three step program to follow.

Do not fail in your confidence! Know that the Lord God has ALL THINGS in control, keep your faith in Him

Persevere, remain in His will. Do not sell the Creator short because of your fear, anxiety, etc. PERSEVERE in HIS WILL, for He is God.

Receive what He promised, be richly rewarded. Yes, that’s the third step, God promised, IT WILL BE DELIVERED.

Give God the praise and glory. I know it wasn’t mentioned in the verses, but it is and should be a very important part of every day life. Never forget to give God the credit, He deserves it and a lot more.

I know the steps don’t make an acrostic, but a powerful, powerful message none the less.
Simply put, if you have a need, take it to God, and LEAVE IT WITH HIM. Have faith that He will take care of it. Matthew 7:7-8 “(7) ‘Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. (8) For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.’”

Thank you, Lord for Your Word that tells us of Your will and how You will always deliver what is promised. Thank you, God for Your goodness and loving us so much. Thank you for Your Son Jesus, who died for my sins, so I may be forgiven and live with You forever. Thank you, Lord for Your grace and mercy, I don’t deserve it, but I will thankfully receive.
