Hebrews 4

Verses 14-16 further expand on my discussion yesterday.

“(14) Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens,[e] Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. (15) For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin. (16) Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”

God loves us enough to send His Son to earth to live as one of us and to die for our sins. Jesus loves us enough to be human as us, suffer the same temptations and trials, as we do, but WITHOUT SIN. Jesus paid the price for our sins with His blood and death but, praise be to God, Jesus conquered the grave by rising again! Jesus is our risen Savior and our connection to our Lord God Almighty! Therefore, we can approach the throne of grace, as verse 16 states, with full confidence that we will receive mercy and grace which will sustain us in our time of need. Thank you sweet Jesus, I praise and worship Your Holy Name!

So, are you facing a problem? Are you in a time of need? If so, Jesus understands, like no one else could. He paid a terrific price so you may take your needs directly to God the Father, and receive mercy and grace, instead of the punishment we all deserve for our sins. Only through Jesus’ blood are we cleansed of our sins and allowed to commune with the Holy Father. Spend some “face time” with our Lord and Savior right now. Praise and worship Him. Get to know your Lord. Take your needs to Him, and LEAVE them there, trust and believe that they are taken care of, in God’s time.

God bless and keep each and every one of you!
