Verses 24-25 state, (24) but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. (25) Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
Aren’t you glad and thankful that Jesus lives forever as intercedes for us to the Father? He loves us enough to come to earth, to live among us as God in human form, to live as one of us, face our trials and temptations, die for our sins, and reigns with God the Father in Heaven. He loves us enough to do all of that and still daily, constantly intercede on our behalf to God. He defends us, when we sin, He reminds the Father to forgive us, for He died for us.
Thank you, sweet Jesus for Your sacrifice, love and mercy; that You never tire or forsake us, but constantly in Your eternal priesthood, intercede on our behalf. We are not worthy of such love, yet You love us still. Thank you, sweet Jesus, and I praise and worship You.
