Matthew 18 - Because Jesus Said So

Throughout this chapter there are many, many verses that are pertinent and I could write volumes on their meaning to me. For the sake of space and time, I will choose only two.

For several days my readings have been centered around faith, our abundance or lack thereof, and the effects of faith in our lives. But one might ask, “How do you know? How can you be sure God will answer your prayers?” Because Jesus told us so. “19 ‘Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven’.” Jesus gave us that assurance that God loves us so much, He will provide if we believe and agree on it. Through our faith, the humanly impossible becomes divinely possible. We have only to trust in Him, have faith in His promises, for He is good and His love endures forever. Spend some time with your Heavenly Father today and you will see exactly what I’m talking about. God bless and keep you.
