Matthew 28 - Waiting on a Miracle?

This passage is about the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Even after Jesus SAID He would be coming back, “6He is not here; he has risen, just as he said…”; even after the disciples SAW He was resurrected, there was some doubt. “17When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.”

Isn’t it amazing how we humans act? We can be told, but still not hear. We can see with our own eyes, and still not believe. Yet we pray for miracles and “signs” to believe, but we miss them because we get so caught up in the “proof” of things, that we miss seeing what is already there, what we need is faith. Hebrews 11:1 “ 1Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.”. As it is shown in human nature, both in history and today, we don’t always “see” the miracles God performs around us and, even if we did, we might not believe them. So, instead of waiting (possibly too late) and looking for signs to believe, increase your faith and you will see.
For regardless of what you think and believe, salvation is there for those who seek it, for those who ask, Jesus Christ paid the price for our sins, and He is our only salvation. John 14:6 “6Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
