Romans 1

“¹⁶I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. ¹⁷For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith."

Praise the Lord! Jesus Christ is not just for the Jews but for all of us who will accept Him. Paul says “everyone who believes”! Not only a certain class, race, gender, nationality, but for everyone! Additionally, Paul states that the gospel reveals the righteousness from God and it is founded by faith in Jesus Christ. It is not by our own deeds we become righteous, but only by the blood of Jesus. And to that end, we must move forward and “live by faith” and like Paul do so unashamed, for faith in the word of God, in His promise to us, in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, in His glorious return is how we live and are sustained. Praise and thanks be to the Lord, our God. So hold your head up high, be bold and empowered by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, for it is in Him the only hope that is needed by the lost and dying world.
